A gourmet stop with a focus on local produce!
We offer local or organic drinks, local ice creams, home-made seasonal pastries and savoury snacks. And, by reservation: picnics, breakfasts, brunches...
"Le Quai des Haltes" is located at the old Chalencon station, on the edge of the "Dolce Via" (cycleway in the Eyrieux Valley), in a much-appreciated natural environment. It's a starting point for many walks and cycle rides, and an ideal place to stop off for a gourmet or recreational break.
In the restored former railway station, which has retained all its authenticity, a number of relaxation areas come to life as the seasons go by: a shaded terrace, a sunny garden, a passenger waiting room...
You can also book your "picnic drive", your "picnic at the table", your breakfast (served in the small rooms of the old station from 8am), your "group meals"... Made-to-measure is also one of our specialities! Just give us a call!
Our customers recommend :
- The chef's chestnut/hazelnut moelleux, to be enjoyed all season long (when there's some left!)
- The "Dolce Via Brunch" served every Sunday in low season (April, June, September and October), by reservation (3 courses: at 11.30am, 1pm and 2.15pm).
On site, a number of games are available for you to enjoy during your stay: large wooden games, air hockey table, Mölkky, Breton shuffleboard, petanque boules, card games, board games...
