An afternoon in La Boissine with Paléodécouvertes
Paléodécouvertes is a whole program around the environmental theme (discovery, awareness, preservation, etc.)
Present on several sites of Ardèche and even Drôme, this association leads scientific and cultural mediation actions such as walks, visits, workshops and animations. What matters is nature and its preservation, that’s what we must remember!
Created in 1989, the Paléodécouvertes association is at the initiative of many educational actions, both for the general public and for schools or other structures (works councils, associations, communities, companies, etc.) around Life and Earth Sciences.
Every year, it allows the discovery of many sites related to the geology and natural history of the Ardèche (old quarries, volcanoes, geological trails, fossils, etc.); while working to preserve this beautiful territory. 🤩
The Domaine départemental de nature de La Boissine, located between Rompon and La Voulte-sur-Rhône (Rhone Valley), offers varied temporary exhibitions and a program of fun activities on nature, science, heritage and culture.
As they themselves say, “Together with our partners from the Musée de l’Ardèche […] and the CCSTI de l’Ardèche, we invite you to come and spend a pleasant time with your family to discover all the secrets of this protected sensitive natural space!” 🌳👨👩👧👨👩👦👦🌿
Combining a museum space filled with wonders and making us discover a once amazing Ardèche, and a remarkable natural space marked by the remains of an old mining area (iron), it will pleasantly occupy your afternoon, weather, rain or shine.
